A LITTLE BIT

ABOUT ME

Hi I’m Abigail

Combining knowledge and experience with a sentimental heart and unwavering enthusiasm, I can help you plan the destination wedding you deserve – one that feels personal, considered, and worthy of your love story so far.

Whether you’re hosting one big, epic party or a three-day event, I want the very best for you and your celebration, wherever it is in the world. From the moment you’re engaged, I believe the whole experience should feel like an exciting adventure before the trip of a lifetime.

MY APPROACH TO PLANNING YOUR WEDDING

Planning a destination wedding should be exciting, not overwhelming and stressful. My attentive, organised approach is built on this belief, ensuring your celebration fits your vision without the process feeling like a tangle of to-do lists and endless firefighting.

As well as logistical precision and an eye for detail, I’ll provide a gentle, calming influence throughout. I’ll take care of those tasks that feel insurmountable – things like location scouting, sourcing suppliers, liaising with the venue, and finalising your wedding timeline. I’ll solve any problems as they arise, manage crises, and shield you from stressors, no matter how small.

I’ll be on-hand to answer questions, talk though ideas, and offer as much advice as I can. People describe me as warm and encouraging – a perpetual enthusiast you can rely on to give you an honest opinion.

You can also count on to grab any opportunity for a hug, share countless laughs, and almost certainly shed a few tears when you make your vows. I’m always so excited and honoured to be part of the celebration.

A few things you

NEED TO KNOW

At home, it’s me, my partner Archie, and our four furry girls.

We have two cats and two dogs. No, the bed isn’t big enough for all of us, but that doesn’t stop the animals from trying!

As a wedding photographer, Archie’s life is as busy as mine, but when we do have some downtime together at home, we love entertaining a houseful of friends. Cooking, trying new recipes, and experimenting with food is my favourite way to unwind. Closely followed by a long soak in the tub with lots of bubbles and a glass of wine!

I’m solar powered and I love to travel.

Archie and I are always up for a good city break! I don’t need high temps, but blue skies and sun on my skin are essential, so we tend to choose destinations with this in mind.

I love everything about planning a trip, from researching accommodation to designing our itinerary. Once we’ve arrived, I always give myself time to wiggle my toes in the sand, rush to the sea, and dip my feet in the water. And you can’t beat wandering the city streets after dark. I think there’s something very special about exploring when nobody else is around.

Wait,
there’s more…

I previously worked in pharmaceutical project management and client management for a materials analysis lab. This means I’m incredibly adept at switching my brain into solution mode. Since 2018, I’ve also been Archie’s second shooter at over 100 weddings, so you could say I plan with a logistics-led brain and a photographer’s eye.

It’s definitely the people. I love connecting with couples like you during such a significant time in your lives. Trust me, your excitement and joy are contagious!

I love how quickly strangers can become friends, and I love meeting the friends and family you’ve chosen to surround yourselves with on your wedding day. People make a wedding, and I always enjoy watching the day unfold through their reactions and behaviour. Like that moment just after the ceremony, if you have one, when the atmosphere changes from anticipation to celebration. Then there’s the conversation at dinner, and the way the laughter and the noise bubble up. I always recommend my couples take a step back for a few moments, just to soak it all in. It’s such a special, yet fleeting experience.

Before I explain, thank you for noticing my beautiful branding!
As well as symbolising things like protection, power and grace, cheetahs are said to represent divine guidance. While I’m not an overly spiritual or religious person, I love the idea of symbolism and tradition. The qualities associated with the cheetah definitely resonate with my approach to wedding planning.

When you’re feeling lost, uncertain, or overwhelmed, I won’t waltz in and take over, removing you from the process completely. Instead, I’ll provide the guidance and support you need, protecting you from any challenges while diligently bringing your vision to life. The result is a stress-free planning experience followed by a celebration that feels personal and considered.

It’s not actually a place at all – it’s Latin music! If Archie thinks I’m feeling down, he’ll always put on a Latin playlist. I used to teach Cuban Salsa, and I still love to dance whenever I get the chance. We even had a salsa class the day before our wedding. It was so much fun watching our wedding party give it a go!

P.S  I’m that person who’ll always encourage you to book the trip, take the flight, or visit another city.
